Banana Bread Recipe 🍌🍞
Ma loves to try out new recipes and especially breakfast recipes.
For this awesome and also delicious banana bread recipe Ma has been inspired by the cooking book from Ella Woodward http://deliciouslyella.com.
This recipe book is full of inspirations for a healthy lifestyle. Ma especially likes the fact that beautiful pictures are used. For each recipe that is given a little paragraph is written in which Ella describes why, when and how she likes to eat this dish the best. Hence, for Ma it is not only a recipe book, it is a book of pleasure and insight views of a great lifestyle.
Ma already did many recipes from that book but today she wants to share with you a specific one which she really enjoyed: Zucchini-Banana-Bread. But Ma decided to modify the recipe a bit and baked a plain Banana Bread.
Ma’s modified banana bread recipe:
2 Table Spoons of Chia Seeds
Put the chia seeds with 8 table spoons of water in a bowl. Let them become jelly.
4 Overripe Bananas
1 Vanilla Bean
Cut it in two and scrape the vanilla out of it.
4 Table Spoons of Maple Syrup
3 Table Spoons of Apple Purée
1 Table Spoon of Cinnamon
First of all you have to splash the banana in a bowl and then you add the vanilla, maple syrup, apple purée, cinnamon and the spelt. Mix everything and then add the chia seeds jelly.
Finally, place the dough in a form (22,5 x 12,5 cm) and cut a banana in two and place it on top as decoration.
Finally, place the banana bread into the preheated oven (200°C air circulation) for 45 to 50 minutes.
Ma decided to serve a slice of banana bread with a layer of peanut creme on top and some berries on the side. It is the perfect combination and tastes awesome.
Most of all, this breakfast fills you until the lunch time very well and you do not have any hungry feelings in between.
Furthermore, the bread can be kept for around 5 days and is as well a perfect snack for in between.
